John has extensive leadership experience from serving as CEO for three companies nationally recognized for their innovation and fast growth. These include Greenline Industries, a biodiesel company with locations in 5 countries, Club One, a fitness club company he grew to over 100 locations and over 1,000 employees, and ClubSource a specialty finance company. Most recently John was the Managing Director for Clean Energy at Imperial Capital, and also has experience with Bain and Company and Bessemer Venture Partners. John received a B.A. in Human Biology, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering, and MBA degrees from Stanford University.

Chief Executive Officer
Greg is a 25-year veteran of the commercial finance industry. He served as CFO of two publicly traded companies and four private firms in the structured finance, real estate and cleantech industries, the majority of which resulted in significant liquidity events for investors. Prior to joining Clean Fund, Greg served as CFO at Project Frog, Inc., a manufacturer of energy efficient green buildings for the education and healthcare industries. Previously, Greg was CFO of Tioga Energy, a nationwide commercial solar energy finance and development company. He was also CFO at Codding Enterprises, a cleantech and commercial real estate owner/investor that was also Clean Fund’s first customer. Greg was previously CFO of Bridger Commercial Funding for 11 years, building the company into the leading independent, nationwide CMBS conduit, securitizing over $5 billion of commercial mortgages. Prior to Bridger, he was CFO of two publicly traded companies, achieving public company mergers for each (National Information Group and Transcisco Industries). Greg holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Managing Director, Program Development and Government Relations
Craig was involved in the creation of PACE in 2008 with his advisory work to the City of Berkeley (where it all began). Through his 20+ years of public finance and policy work in California and a national consulting practice on energy finance, he has been recognized as a leader in the development of renewable and energy efficiency finance. Mr. Hill also manages one of the most successful financial advisory firms in California (NHA Advisors) and advises public agencies with access to the capital markets. He has both a Managerial Economics and Agricultural Economics degree from the University of California at Davis.

James has extensive experience working in the public finance sector including the evolution of PACE programs. This includes leading teams for two of the largest economic development bond issuers in the country, the Public Finance Authority and the California Statewide Communities Development Authority. In addition, James served as General Counsel to U.S. Communities, a nationwide government cooperative purchasing program. James received a BA in Political Science from UC Riverside, and JD from Whittier Law School.

Joe has been in the investment banking and real estate business for over 20 years. While at E.F. Hutton and Lehman Brothers, he structured over $8 billion in financings for healthcare clients in the US. Most recently, Joe was Managing Director of Capital Markets for Jones Lang LaSalle and founder of Duke Healthcare Capital. He has advised on the structuring and sale of bonds, capital strategy and on overall real estate strategy for clients. Joe has been a guest lecturer at Stanford Business School and the USC School of Public & Health Policy and is an Honors Graduate of the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

Chris is responsible for sourcing and financing deep energy retrofit and water conservation projects in commercial office, hospitality, multifamily and private healthcare buildings throughout the United States. His experience spans 24 years in the commercial real estate, internet infrastructure and renewable energy sectors leading sales and business development efforts, raising and deploying capital and general operations. Most recently he was a Vice President at SCIenergy focused on building out the sales and business development organization for their MESA capital platform. Prior to that spent five years as a principal of Appian Capital, a private commercial real estate investment company where he lead the firm’s capital strategy and business development efforts, deploying over $200MM during his tenure. Mr. Robbins holds a B.A. degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He is an active member of various industry associations and groups, including serving seven years on the Board of Directors of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) San Francisco Bay Area Chapter in addition to serving on the Energy and Environment Committee, BOMA San Francisco.

Director, Business Development and Sales
Joshua Kagan is the Director of Business Development and Sales for Clean Fund where he focuses on cultivating partnerships with channel partners and structuring win-win solutions for commercial real estate owners. Prior to joining Clean Fund, he ran the Carbon War Room’s global energy efficiency division which was focused on catalyzing private investment in scalable and replicable efficiency projects on three continents. Prior to the War Room, he was the Senior Analyst with the clean tech investment firm Atlas Capital Investments LLC and a Fellow with the Prometheus Institute for Sustainable Development where he focused on efficiency platforms, advanced transportation systems, and distributed energy companies. He has consulted for Gerson Lehrman Group as well as Greentech Media and has lectured on alternative energy economics at UC Berkeley. He was the sole author of "Third and Fourth-Generation Biofuels: Technologies, Markets, and Economics Through 2015" (Greentech Media) and lead author on "Raising the Roof: How to Create Climate Wealth Through Efficient Buildings" (Greentech Media) and "The Financial and Sustainability Performance of Global REITs" (Forthcoming). He has been both a New Leaders Council and Mitsui/Tomodachi Fellow. Joshua holds a Master's degree from the London School of Economics and Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.

Felicia has a professional background in finance and joined Clean Fund from Edison International, where she was Senior Manager of Investor Relations. Her previous experience includes nine years in fixed income investment banking at RBC Capital Markets (public finance), First Albany Capital (public finance), and Goldman Sachs (leveraged finance). Prior real estate experience includes four years at Kosmont & Associates structuring redevelopment/economic development transactions and securing land use entitlements for large commercial developments. She received her M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, her M.A. in Urban Planning from UCLA, and her B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University.
Felicia is a Commissioner in the City of Pasadena, California, currently serving as Treasurer on the Pasadena Center Operating Company Board which operates the convention center complex and visitor’s bureau. Felicia also currently serves on State Senator Carol Liu’s Green 21 Advisory Committee and Assembly Majority Leader Chris Holden’s Advisory Council. In her free time Felicia enjoys hiking, biking, improving her home, or tending to her xeriscaped garden.

Manager of Financial Analysis
Zhou Jiang joins Clean Fund as Manager of Financial Analysis assisting with structured and project finance, corporate FP&A, and leveraging financial analysis for business development and sales. Prior to joining Clean Fund, Zhou spent two and half years with E la Carte, an Intel Capital-backed technology startup, where he worked with the CEO and exec team on product and financial analysis, capital raising, and corporate development. Prior to E la Carte, Zhou supported data product development and analysis efforts at Haver Analytics, a leading time series data provider in New York City.
Zhou was also an Analyst Intern at Dune Real Estate Partners, a New York City-based real estate investment firm as well as a Summer Analyst at Macquarie Capital, in the Telecom, Media, Entertainment, and Technology group.
Zhou holds a B.S. in Finance and Economic Theory from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Will McCalpin joins Clean Fund as Investment Associate assisting with deal origination, business development, transaction management, and operational due diligence. Will spent a year with the Commercial & Industrial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program at the CT Green Bank where he was involved with the first securitization of commercial PACE projects totaling $30M. Prior to C-PACE, Will supported project development efforts at OwnEnergy, a community-scale wind energy developer based in Brooklyn, NY. Will was also a Summer Analyst at Hudson Clean Energy Partners, a cleantech-focused private equity firm with AUM of ~$1B based in Teaneck, NJ, as well as a Research Associate at Esty Environmental Partners, a boutique environmental strategy consulting firm based in Waltham, MA.

Director of Marketing
Brooke S. Palizi, Director of Marketing at Clean Fund, is responsible for all communication strategy and marketing activities. Brooke has been a marketing strategist in the financial services industry for almost fifteen years. Prior to joining Clean Fund, Brooke held various roles at Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a New York-based private equity and structured capital fund, including Manager of Marketing and Communications and Manager of the VSS Communications Industry Forecast. Brooke's responsibilities included firm marketing and communications, investor relations, and fundraising and due diligence support. Additionally, she managed the strategy, positioning and planning for the VSS Forecast. Brooke studied Communications and English at the University of Maryland at College Park.

KJ Kroetch joins Clean Fund as Sales Associate developing an origination platform, conducting market segmentation analysis, and supporting the sales, marketing, and finance teams. Prior to joining Clean Fund, KJ spent a year and a half with Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction, first in marketing and business development and then in project management. KJ is a LEED Green Associate.
KJ holds a B.A. in Architectural Studies and Art History from Tufts University in Somerville, Massachusetts.
